This app is designed to give aviation enthusiasts a taste of the worlds greatest job. The radar behavior in this app is identical to that of real-world air traffic control radar screens, utilizing a 3-second sweep that air traffic controllers are accustomed to. Much work has been done to make such a complex job fit inside the palm of your hand.
You are the approach controller whose job is to manage arriving passenger jets at various busy airports. Establish arriving aircraft onto final approach as safely and efficiently as possible. As in the real world of ATC, you must walk a very fine line between being cautious and being expeditious. A top notch air traffic controller knows how to bring planes in tight, without breaking the three mile rule.
Keep all aircraft at least THREE MILES apart or at least 1000 FEET VERTICALLY apart. Thats your job in a nutshell! Earn extra points by establishing the planes onto final approach without extra wasted space.
Air traffic controlling is achieved by assigning a mixture of three things: HEADING, SPEED, and ALTITUDE. Use these three tools to achieve safety and efficiency.

Nicely done!, very professional-looking interface and challenging tasks. Just one thing missing in my opinion: It would be great if one could adjust the passage of time, as in make everything go faster or slower.
So not a mindless game but good fast-paced fun (drink coffee first). I havent tried the other levels yet. Whats a good score?
I give four stars - I like it. Its fun but not easy to master.

Way better than any other ATC apps. Those SEP RINGS saved a few thousand lives LOL. On to try Ninja level.

This is an excellent simulation and very very accurate! I trained to be an Air Traffic Controller and worked in the Simulator and this is very accurate and brings back fond memories. Im happy to see after 7 years I still can handle it. Havent tried the other airports yet, but would like to see a dual airport and more variety of planes to up the challenge. May have to be iPad only to have the screen space.
Works great and I love it but after 8-12 minutes of gameplay it crashes and I lose all my progress but overall a great game
Some bad moments
The app is in serious need of updates. Its a 4x3 aspect ration in a 16x9 world.
Frequently crashing when selecting a target, as well as issues with altitude that can only be set to current altitude +/-x*10, and when one error condition is present (distance <3 Nm) other errors arent detected. At the moment there are better ATC apps.
It is very good if u want to learn how to direct planes(very advanced) but some times this man comes up and starts giving you tips and assigns blame
Would be nice if we were given the option to do tower handoffs. Though three miles is the lateral limit, youll always get separation errors when sequencing traffic on final if you keep them that tight. Pretty solid overall.
Good practice for getting use the real thing. Very addictive game!!!!
I really like the idea. But i would like to be able to save games. It would also be good to have a more interesting progression throughout the game.
